Help! Een tand eruit. Wat nu? Eerst moet u het volgende aan de kaak stellen: gaat het om een volwassen tand of een melktand?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Een volwassen tand eruit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/section>
\n

Pak de tand vast bij de kroon (dit is het deel dat boven het tandvlees zichtbaar is) en maak de tand met speeksel schoon\u00a0in uw\u00a0mond of laat de persoon van wie de tand is dit doen. Als dit niet mogelijk is, spoel dan de tand schoon\u00a0met melk. De tand mag in geen geval uitdrogen<\/u>.<\/u> Is de tand langer dan een half uur droog geweest dan is de kans minimaal dat hij nog met succes kan worden teruggezet.<\/p>\n

LET OP:<\/strong> Breng de tand niet in contact met water! De levende cellen van het wortelvlies kunnen door water vaak niet overleven.<\/p>\n

Het is het beste om de tand zelf terug te plaatsen in de kaak of stop de tand in de wangplooi van de mond om zo de tand vochtig te houden. Mocht dat niet mogelijk zijn, dan kan de tand ook bewaard worden in een beker met melk. Een melktand eruit <\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/section>
\n

In tegenstelling tot een volwassen, blijvende tand, moet u een uitgevallen melktand nooit<\/u><\/strong> terugplaatsen. Dit kan namelijk de nieuwe, blijvende tand beschadigen. Wanneer de melktand al los zat vanwege het wisselen hoeft u niets te doen, er zal vanzelf een nieuwe, blijvende tand op de lege plek komen.
